It is a school’s statutory duty to report on pupil outcomes at the end of Key Stage 2 (Year 6).

Pupil’s will sit Statutory Assessment Tests (SATS) in Reading, Maths and GPS (Grammar, spelling and punctuation) starting on Monday 10th and ending on Thursday 13th May. The results of these are reported to you as parents/carers.

The video below gives more information on what the KS2 SATS tests cover and how the assessment information will be reported to you.

KS2 tests

As you know, Year 6 is a crucial year and SATS practice is key!

Booster packs, containing revision and past SATs practice papers for you and your child to work through will be handed out at the end of each half term. There is no rush to return these to school, however once completed and returned your child will receive more revision. It is important now that all the children are focused and well prepared, daily practice is key!
