Welcome Back

Welcome back!

We are so happy to see you all again and have our classrooms full of laughter and play. We hope you are happy to be back in school too and are looking forward to spending the rest of the year together.

Any questions or concerns that you have, please feel free to speak to myself or Mrs Jones.

Thank you,

Miss Huyton

Summer 1

This half term we will be learning about the outdoors and the minibeasts that we find! We will be reading Superworm and the Hungry Caterpillar. Our focuses will be on number, communication and story telling.

Spring Term

This half term our focus is to welcome children back to school and enjoy their time playing together. We will be talking about our emotions and working on our communication skills.

Autumn 2

This half term we will be learning about Traditional Tales. We will be reading the books 'Goldilocks and the 3 Bears' and 'The Gingerbread man.' Our main focus will be on joining in with the repeated refrains in the story and describing the key events in the story.

Autumn 1

This half term we will be taking the time to settle in to school life, get to know each other and explore our indoor and outdoor areas. We follow the children's interests so will decide what topics we will be learning through one we have observed the children in play!
