Home Learning

Here are some ideas for indoor and non-screen activities. Give them a try at home. smiley

Work will be uploaded daily for the children, this does not mean that you have to complete every set activity. We are providing you with activities to keep your children busy and learning. However, the main aim is to ensure your children are happy and healthy, therefore please do not stress and stay safe. smiley

Use these apps and websites to continue your learning at home.smiley

Hi Year Four,

please see the information from the LFC foundation! Great ideas and videos for some PE activities at home. Use the powerpoint to access the videos and lessons.

The LFC Foundation Home Learning Hub – -

We are pleased to let you know that we have now published our very own home learning hub.

This is a way of engaging with your pupils and delivering our PL Primary Stars project with them while they are at home.

All of the activities are easily accessible over a device with internet connection and all lessons have guided learning led by the LFC Foundation team.

The activities can be accessed in the pupils own time, however we will bring a new timetable out each week with new lessons to give structure.

This weeks activities are:

KS1 PE - Agility and coordination with coach Ant
KS2 PE – Imagination and creativity with coach Ste
PSHE – Healthy Body ,Healthy Mind with coach Chris
Maths – Fantasy football - addition and Subtraction with coach Jakob (adapted for all Key Stages)
Football Club – close control and ball manipulation with coach Nick.
Just for fun activities, including word searches, Sudoku, the Mighty Red corner and more.

Enjoy!!!

Good Morning Year 4,

I hope you are all well and ready for some more learning after some time off.

I have attached today's tasks on to this post. One of the tasks is to write a letter about what you have done over the past few weeks. Please put in as much as you can remember particularly anything you have achieved so you are keeping me up to date with how you are getting on. :-)

I look forward to receiving the pictures of your work. Remember to upload them - you can put them onto the Class Dojo portfolio.

Have a lovely day.
Miss Clarke

Dear Parents and carers,

I will not be setting daily asks over the ‘Easter Holidays’. I have, however, created a document attached that has lots of educational games and activities the children can access over the holidays.

I have also attached some activity booklets the children can work through if you have access to a printer.

Please do continue to read every day.

Also continue to practise your times tables – All of them

Continue to practise handwriting.

Use your spelling sheet to go over some of the spelling words (I will be being to test some words after these two weeks).

Don't forget the Joe Wicks workout is on each day to keep your mind and your body healthy.

I hope you all have a wonderful Easter.

Stay safe, Stay healthy!

Miss Clarke smiley
