Numeracy - Count Me In

Faith Primary are taking part in 'Liverpool Counts'; a numeracy for life quality mark. At Faith we want pupils; staff and parents to see the value of being numerate and show how it helps you within your everyday life.

 

The National Numeracy Challenge have a website that is designed to help adults learn the maths needed for everyday life. We would like parents to get involved . Please contact Mrs Bailey or Miss Carney at Faith Primary for further information.

Maths Ambassadors

 

Meet our Maths Ambassadors, Kacey Williamson, Keris Garrett and Faith Patterson. The work the Ambassadors do in school includes

  • meeting with Mrs Bailey to plan Maths events
  • promoting a positive attitude to Maths in school
  • sharing ideas with School Council, staff and pupils
  • choosing weekly problems to go on to the weekly newsletter
  • contributing to displays
  • listening to pupil voice

Numeracy For Life

 

Thank you to all the parents and staff who took the time to share with us how they use Maths in their everyday lives and work places. The children are showing a great deal of interest in the displays placed around the school sharing this information.
